General Product Warranties


TACT’s general Warranty covers our products for two years from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.

Replacement or repair, at the option of TACT RESULTS LLC. (“TACT”), will be performed by TACT in a reasonable amount of time at no charge, except shipping costs, to the original owner.  Warranty includes labor and parts.

TACT must be notified immediately of anything that may be covered under warranty.  Failure to do so may void this warranty.  Once reported, it is our policy to correct any problem covered under warranty as soon as possible.

Items covered under warranty include:  failure of materials and graphics. This warranty does not cover fading, bleeding or material wear associated with normal use. This warranty is non-transferable; it extends only to the original owner.

Warranties provided by sub-assembly manufacturers for major components, including mechanical, electrical, energy, plumbing, structural, and technological systems etc. will be passed through to our customers and are subject to the original manufacturers terms and limitations. Customer must contact these manufacturers for warranty issues. TACT does not warranty systems or subsystems built by other manufacturers.

All other causes of damage including, but not limited to, damage due to extreme weather, abuse, mildew damage or stains, improper care, vandalism, theft, misuse or unusual use (not following recommendations as set forth in the “General Use and Care Instructions” section of our user guides) are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty does not cover any item attached to TACT equipment by anyone other than TACT.

Any alterations made to TACT products or subsystem components without authorized consent, will void this warranty.

Warranty does not cover shipping costs for repair or replacement. Warranty does not include or cover loss of revenue, or any other consequential losses or damages, due to failure of products or components of products.

IMPORTANT: Please follow all recommendations as set forth in the “General Use and Care Instructions”: Failure to adhere to instructions and warnings provided with this product will invalidate this warranty.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are considered final and no restocking is authorized. In the event restocking has been authorized, a fee may apply.

Visually Modified Vehicles (VisMods)

VIsMod’s are often utilized in training to represent enemy vehicles.

TACT has two VisMod prototypes currently in design – a Russian BTR-90 Armoured Personnel Carrier and a Russian T-90 Main Battle Tank.

Standard VisMod models operate on top of the base of a Ford F250, GMC Sierra 2500, or Dodge RAM truck and come standard with a 50 Cal Gas gun, secured on top. A HMMWV VisMod model utilizing a HMMWV as a base is also available.

Radar reflectivity and thermal signatures are optional add-ons to our standard VisMod service.

Availability:

  • Our BTR-90 model is expected to be available by May, 2021.
  • The T-90, is expected to be available by September 2021.

Battlefield Effects

All weather, remote controlled Battlefield Effects system.
TACT is able to offer a wide suite of Battlefield effects to provides realistic theater of war scenarios, adding additional stress and disorientation to the training audience. While TACT’s laser or radio-frequency based training systems allow for very sophisticated weapon training, visibility on the ground is only achieved through battle and weapons effects. Utilizing rigorously tested Pyrotechnic effects, TACT is able to support a variety of training scenarios including IED Awareness, MOUT, Force on Force, Force on Target and ManPADS exercises.

Our Battlefield Effects solutions are able to simulate tank firing, anti-tank weapons, ground-to-air missiles and artillery guns. Furthermore, they may also provide hit effects, including air and ground bursts, tank kills and APSFDS hits. Rapidly deployable, our systems include 16 – 32 shot options, may be remotely controlled and detonated by Observer Controller Trainer’s in the field, are rapidly reloadable, and built for use in all-weather conditions.

The range of TACT’s Battlefield effects solutions is extendable to meet the needs of the training audience.

Police, Hospital & Private Training
