General Product Warranties


TACT’s general Warranty covers our products for two years from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.

Replacement or repair, at the option of TACT RESULTS LLC. (“TACT”), will be performed by TACT in a reasonable amount of time at no charge, except shipping costs, to the original owner.  Warranty includes labor and parts.

TACT must be notified immediately of anything that may be covered under warranty.  Failure to do so may void this warranty.  Once reported, it is our policy to correct any problem covered under warranty as soon as possible.

Items covered under warranty include:  failure of materials and graphics. This warranty does not cover fading, bleeding or material wear associated with normal use. This warranty is non-transferable; it extends only to the original owner.

Warranties provided by sub-assembly manufacturers for major components, including mechanical, electrical, energy, plumbing, structural, and technological systems etc. will be passed through to our customers and are subject to the original manufacturers terms and limitations. Customer must contact these manufacturers for warranty issues. TACT does not warranty systems or subsystems built by other manufacturers.

All other causes of damage including, but not limited to, damage due to extreme weather, abuse, mildew damage or stains, improper care, vandalism, theft, misuse or unusual use (not following recommendations as set forth in the “General Use and Care Instructions” section of our user guides) are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty does not cover any item attached to TACT equipment by anyone other than TACT.

Any alterations made to TACT products or subsystem components without authorized consent, will void this warranty.

Warranty does not cover shipping costs for repair or replacement. Warranty does not include or cover loss of revenue, or any other consequential losses or damages, due to failure of products or components of products.

IMPORTANT: Please follow all recommendations as set forth in the “General Use and Care Instructions”: Failure to adhere to instructions and warnings provided with this product will invalidate this warranty.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are considered final and no restocking is authorized. In the event restocking has been authorized, a fee may apply.

Visually Modified Vehicles (VisMods)

VIsMod’s are often utilized in training to represent enemy vehicles.

TACT has two VisMod prototypes currently in design – a Russian BTR-90 Armoured Personnel Carrier and a Russian T-90 Main Battle Tank.

Standard VisMod models operate on top of the base of a Ford F250, GMC Sierra 2500, or Dodge RAM truck and come standard with a 50 Cal Gas gun, secured on top. A HMMWV VisMod model utilizing a HMMWV as a base is also available.

Radar reflectivity and thermal signatures are optional add-ons to our standard VisMod service.

Availability:

  • Our BTR-90 model is expected to be available by May, 2021.
  • The T-90, is expected to be available by September 2021.

Battlefield Effects

All weather, remote controlled Battlefield Effects system.
TACT is able to offer a wide suite of Battlefield effects to provides realistic theater of war scenarios, adding additional stress and disorientation to the training audience. While TACT’s laser or radio-frequency based training systems allow for very sophisticated weapon training, visibility on the ground is only achieved through battle and weapons effects. Utilizing rigorously tested Pyrotechnic effects, TACT is able to support a variety of training scenarios including IED Awareness, MOUT, Force on Force, Force on Target and ManPADS exercises.

Our Battlefield Effects solutions are able to simulate tank firing, anti-tank weapons, ground-to-air missiles and artillery guns. Furthermore, they may also provide hit effects, including air and ground bursts, tank kills and APSFDS hits. Rapidly deployable, our systems include 16 – 32 shot options, may be remotely controlled and detonated by Observer Controller Trainer’s in the field, are rapidly reloadable, and built for use in all-weather conditions.

The range of TACT’s Battlefield effects solutions is extendable to meet the needs of the training audience.

Casualty Training & Moulage

Casualty and Live Roleplayer Moulage training provides cost effective, immersive training for Military Field Medics, First Responders, Triage Nurses and other emergency response scenarios. Realistic training for Mass Casualty (MASCAL) and unusual casualty situations, in a live environment, enhances the ability of medical personnel to respond accurately and effectively to the situations they find themselves in.

TACT’s range of robotic mannikin and lifelike moulage capabilities, allows medical personnel to feel and act as if they are in real life emergency. The resulting training stress created by our immersive solutions ensures high quality training for any scenario.

Moulage
Our moulage services include lifelike, anatomically correct limbs, and the creation of in-situ wounds, lacerations and burns on live casualty role-players. Our moulage capabilities are able to replicate sucking chest wounds, arterial bleeds, intestinal evisceration and internal bruising. TACT utilizes technologies developed in Hollywood for various Scify movies and popular TV shows, in order to create fully immersive medical emergencies.

Feedback from military personnel compare our moulage services to the most realistic training they have received since operating “in country.”

Manikin’s
Our Robotic Manikin, provide the additional advatange of being able to actually perform operations, incisions and sutures on a reactive patient. Using a remote control, Trainers/OCT’s are able to change the facial reactions, dilate the eyes, move the patients body/arms/legs, and in fact speak (or react) on behalf of the patient, to enhance the immersive training for their students.

This technology allows patients to be awoken during a surgery, and/or react to key indicators, incorrect diagnoses or even the insertion of a needle.

Scenario, Tracking & AAR Training Capabilities

TACT offers a scenario based training solution to simulate combat regardless of location, without the need for the use of live or blank ammunition, avoiding many of the safety limitations that often affect training. Utilizing state-of-the-art laser technology, TACT is able to offer Observer/Controller/Trainers the ability to control live “Force-on-Force” or “Active Shooter” training scenarios, monitor trainees and generate enhanced After Action Reviews (AARs). Providing a solution for realistic training while eliminating the need for blank ammunition, not only helps minimize costs, streamline logistics and significantly improves safety standards, but allows for realistic training scenarios to be developed in small, public or high traffic areas, including schools, hospitals, cafes and oil refineries.

TACT’s training solutions system is built to fit on any weapon utilized by a training unit, whether they be military, police or private contractor. Unlike most Laser Engagement Training Systems (e.g. MILES), no blank ammunition is required to activate the laser system and generate the effects of gunfire (sound and flash). For units with no laser system, this is also available. Real-time control of your training activity is provided with virtual effects incorporated into live training, providing for enhanced AAR capabilities. Furthermore, the actions of all unit members are tracked via GPS, shot directions and counts are monitored, while ammunition usage is controlled in the same manner as it would be with live rounds, including the need for magazine changes. Command and/or internal unit communications may also be conducted via our weapons system.

Certified to MIL-STD-810G, in serial production and operational use, TACT’s weapons system offers a cost effective solution for small or large units.

Conduct virtual internal AAR’s after the training or utilize one of TACT’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to lead a virtual AAR for your team. Our SME’s are drawn from key organizations around the world, including ex military, special forces, SWAT and anti-terrorist teams.

 

Instructor Level Controls
TACT’s scenario systems allow trainers to control activity in real time, generate events, virtual obstacles and take AAR snapshots during the live training.

Laser Technology
TACT’s laser solutions fits most weapons if no in-house laser training system is available.

Training System
TACT provides trainee’s with a training system that fits their existing weapons systems, providing simulated fire effects (sound, light, number of rounds and laser shot), GPS tracking and communications with the control center.
